Tips on making your profile stand out.

So you've taken the time to sign up here, but are not getting any response - how do you change that?

1. Pictures - the single most important thing is your profile picture. Without a picture, most people won't even stop to look at your profile. It doesn;t have to be a face pic, or indeed a nude picture. Just a picture of you that gives the person looking at your profile an idea of what you look like. Profiles with pictures show other members that your are serious about meeting and you are who you say you are. Think about it - when you are looking at ther profiles, which ones stand out to you? The ones without photo's? No, it's always the ones with a pic. In fact 99% of people will ignore a profile without a picture.
2. Profile "about me" section - If you expect other members to have take the time to search your profile and take a ook at it, the least you can do is write about yourself. What if they come accross your profile and it just says "looking for a local shag" - What does that really tell the other member about you? We are all looking for that - so how does that make you stand our from the crowd? It doesn't. So, spend some time in writing two or three paragraphs about yourself. Your likes, dislikes etc. You are, after all, advertising yourself - so do it properly!
3. Honesty - Be honest! It sounds simple, but there can be a lot of fakes out there. Don't post a photo of yourself thats 10 years old - remember, if all goes well, you may be meeting the people looking at it - then who's going to look silly! If you are a married guy playing away, don't say you are single - some people won't mind meeting you as a married guy, but they will mind if you say you are single are you are not! And guys - don't pretent to be a girl or part of a couple but "the wife cant make the meet as she's ill". Swingers have heard it all before and you won't get away with it - it'll just damage your reputation and may even get you kicked off the site.
4. Get verified! - Because there are a lot of timewasters out there, we have come up with a way for you to identify people who take swinging seriously and are happy to prove they are real. Look for the white "tick" by some profiles. This means we have verified the pictures they have on the site are realy them. To get verified, click on the link in the left hand column when you are logged in. All you need to do is take a photo of you holding a piece of paper with "Temptations Swingers Ads" written on it. We will then activate your white tick. Don't worry, we will NEVER make the picture you send to us public.
5. Visit frequently - If you look at profiles on the site, it shows the last time they logged in. This is useful so you know that they are more likely to repy to a message you send them. Try to log in at least every 2-3 days to keep your profile current.
6. Use SwingNow! - SwingNow is a feature we have to allow you to annouce your availability for a short notice meet. All you need to do is select "My SwingNow" from the left hand menu when logged in and turn the feature on.
7. Use the forums & chatrooms to get noticed! - Your profile gives people an initial idea of what you are like, but visit the chatrooms and forums. Become an active member of the community, and you will get noticed more!
